Mmmmm I have just set up a Wordpress Weblog and I may decide to keep a weblog. It was the easiest to install and has a nice admin UI. I suspect it will be a passing phase and there will only ever be two or three entries.

However, I do like a good moan (no I hear you say) so I may just use the weblog to have a good old rant. Anyway check it out here

Guestbook Spam

The latest scurge of the net.... Guest book spam. God how I hate it and the scum use automated scripts to post.

Well I have finally come across a superb Guest Book script, it has a powerful (and good looking) admin panel, it is highly configurable and skinable.

But the really good bit is the spam protection, a simple flag means that any postings have to be authorised through the admin panel.

So what are you waiting for....go get it here !

Members Area

Just got an excellent user management script working... I installed and evaluated many security and login scripts before finding the puma script.

I needed a script that would allow users to register themselves but they could then be authorised by the admin manager. In addition I needed to record certain information about the user. Finally, with a little tweaking, got puma to fit the bill.
